Final YouTube Video Project

As a part of your final project you need to submit a video on YouTube.  The challenge with this video is that it needs to catch on.  You'll want to consider a subject that will catch people's attention.  Check out the bullets below for an outline of the requirements and due dates.

Objective: Get people to watch your videos.  In the social media world views, subscriptions, or followers are king so you will be graded in two parts.
  1. Your goal is to get 100 views and 10 likes.  You will be given a percentage on the project that reflects the views and likes on your video.
  2. I will grade the video for content and good lighting, camera technique, and how interesting the subject matter is.
Subject:  You decide the subject.  Do a little research.  What are people interested in that you can talk about or use as the inspiration of your video?  Check out other popular videos.

REMEMBER:  Your video needs to be school appropriate.
  • Yes, controversial topics are fine.
  • No swearing.
  • PG Rated content.
DUE DATE:
  • The video must be posted between 4/28 and 5/12.
  • Link for the Video Sent to Mr. L on or before 5/12.
  • The number of views will be "graded" during the week of finals.
