LIGHTSABER BATTLE

Now that you've practiced creating the lightsaber effect, it's time to apply the skill.

YOUR ASSIGNMENT: 30 second Lightsaber Battle 
Your group should come up with a scenerio or a story.

INCLUDE
  • Opening scene that sets up the battle. Why is the battle happening?
  • A battle (examples below)
  • A closing
  • TURN IN THE SCREEN PLAY before you start shooting your movie. 
RESTRICTIONS:
All filming and editing must be done during class time.  
Each person in the group must be involved with the project for the entire project. 

AS A GROUP
1.  Write a screen play that includes scene directions.  (A director should be able to come in and take your script and shoot the footage and know what each actor is doing in the shot.)

2.  Include at least the following shots:
  • Over the shoulder
  • Mid-shot
  • Close up
  • Wide shot

EACH INDIVIDUAL in the group needs to :
  1. Participate as the director or filmer, or actor.  
  2. Take one shot from the battle and install the lightsaber effect.  The shot must be included in the final movie.   
  3. Write the directions for one shot in the battle.
