Pay the rent!

Scenerio: 

You are running a business and you need to pay the bills.  Your rent of $100 is due February 24th.  There are a number of things you can do to earn "money".  When you've completed the work email me the link to the video on Youtube or your blog.  Here are just a few ideas.  

TED Talk – 3 points

Listen to a TED Talk and write 100 words that address the following questions:

• What is the speaker’s main idea? 
• Why is the speaker talking about this subject?
• What does the speaker want the listeners to do?
• What was your thoughts on the talk?

Photoshop or Premiere Tutorial – 5 points

Wedding video – 50 points

Sports Highlight film – 50 points

Film Riot Tutorial – 25 points

Short Film – 50 points

Commercial for school group – 50 points 
Music Video - 50 points

Your project plays on the announcements – 10 points in addition to the project total

Independent project – Negotiate points 

Choose projects that will equal at least 100 points to earn your money.  You will be given all the points you earn.  Any points that you earn OVER 100 will be transferred to past assignments.  It is possible to earn enough points to make up for all your missing assignments.  

Paper Trail
Once you've completed the work upload it to Youtube or put it on your blog and send me the link at larsenclassroom@gmail.com. 

Group Projects
If you turn in a project as a group the points will be split between the group.
If you film the project as a group and each person takes the footage and edits it individually, each person will be given their own points.
