Practice problem solving skills
As we talked about in class, problem solving follows the following steps:
- Define the problem. Bring the problem into the light. Recognize it for what it is.
- Gather information. How will you go about solving the problem?
- Plan. Abraham Lincoln said, "If I have 6 hours to chop down a tree, I'll spend the first 4 hours sharpening my ax." Organize your time. Break the problem into manageable tasks. Prepare for success.
- Start. Take the first step. Practice makes beginning a project easier.
Be creative and remember to tell a story.
