30 Second Short Video Assignment

Your assignment is to create a 30 second short film.  This is your opportunity to show me what you know about movie making.  Consider it a pre-test. 

For your reference I've included a link for a web page has names and examples of the different types of shots we'll use in class.  Make sure you know these shot names and can recognize them in a movie as there will be a quiz.

 Assignment Requirements

• 30 seconds in length
• Must have a storyline that is school appropriate. 
• Use multiple shots from the "Shot Names and Examples" page. 
• No special effects.  
• You may shoot the video with a group but EACH PERSON must edit their own video. 
• Keep the dialog to a minimum.  
• Include appropriate music.

DUE DATE
We will watch these films in class next Friday, September 4th.
