After Effects Lightning Assignment

This assignment is an opportunity to demonstrate your understanding of the skills we've learned in After Effects.  It's also a chance for you to experiment with different camera angles and show some creativity in storytelling.

Your Video Clip Must include the following:

• 2 people that interact with each other.
• Lightning
• Energy Ball
• Audio

You, as the "Director," will need to come up with a story and include a number of shots that are interesting and a story that makes sense.

You, as the "Editor" will import the video clips into Premiere and edit them to tell the story you want.  You'll then export the video, import it into After Effects, and add the special effects.
Lastly we'll work on the audio back in Premiere.

Assignment details:

• Work in groups of 3.  
• Video must me 20 seconds long
• You must be the director of the video you edit but you can ask others for help with ideas. 
• You must act in the other 2 movies that your group will shoot.  

Remember:  Planning makes everything easier.  Write down your ideas.  Plan out your shots.
